Black Hawk Trail

BIO:
    Using hit and run tactics Ute Chief, Black Hawk, led a group of warriors consisting of Utes, Paiutes, Shoshones and Navajos against the settlements of central Utah. At least 2,500 Territorial Militiamen were put into the field to try to capture the elusive warrior and his army which consisted of fewer than one hundred men. At least seventy whites were killed in the three year war.
